Oh, to post again...
...hello all...boy, it's been awhile and I do apologize. I often think of posting, usually at the most inopportune time...and when I am on the 'puter, I find I am not in the writing mood.
Wow! I have so much to share! First, and foremost, I am now engaged to Jeff! Yes, he asked me in Tennessee on July 4th...how exciting is that! I am very, very, very happy! And, my ring is gorgeous! If I can get a good shot of it with my digital I will post it. We have no clue when we are going to marry or where, but we're working on it. Thinking of a small wedding here at the church where I work and following it by a small reception at a local bed and breakfast. Michelle, my best friend back home, has volunteered to throw us a reception when we come to Florida which is soooooooooooooo incredibly sweet!
Right now I am dog sitting for my friend and co-worker, Kathy. She and her husband have gone to Colorado for the weekend and I am keeping Katie, their Westie, company for the next few days. It's a nice break and I get to sleep in a real bed! Awesome!
I've just been working and we've been looking for a house or condo to buy.
Jeff is working at Restoration Hardware. If you've never heard of them, check out their website...the have NICE stuff and he gets 40% off!!! He worked there last year and into the beginning of this year and when he called and they figured out who he was, the manager said, "When can you start? Can you start today?" What an answer to prayer. Jeff has been feeling better. He has been sleeping at night which is a miracle and although he is still tired, he seems to be doing somewhat better.
And, yes, we got the piano! I've got some awesome pics to show you! We've learned a lot about it since we got it. It's somewhat rare and what made to look like a box grand piano. Jeff painstakingly took it all apart, I think he has spent over 21 hours working on it, and cleaned it and polishes it weekly. We found out today that it is made of mahogony! Wow! It also has inlaid wood on the sides! It is simple and beautiful! Jeff and I played "heart and soul" (my jazzed up version) the other night. Then I played the top of "Chariots of Fire" and he played the chords...it actually sounded half good! LOL!
Well, I gotta head to bed. I missed work Thursday due to a nasty head/jaw ache. It felt like someone had wacked me in the head with something...I feel so much better now, but because our publications specialist is out this week, I am in charge of finishing the bulletin; so, I'm gonna go in early so I can get it all done. I was able to finish the powerpoint here tonight which puts me ahead and Jeff is going to do two things for me tomorrow, which rocks! He is so giving! He doesn't work tomorrow, so he's gonna help me out! It's not everyday you find a guy like him!
Well, gotta go to beddy by...I'll be sure to post again soon, maybe even tomorrow night. I've got some other pics to post as well, but since I am not at home this weekend...it'll probably be next week before I can post them.
Love and miss everyone! "For I know the plans I have for you...to give you a hope and a future"! God is so good!
Nite, nite...
